news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090923/ap_en_mu/us_eminem_appleFrom my prior research, I find THIS to be interesting. specially the part: Apple says it has a valid agreement with Aftermath Records, which controls the Eminem sound recordings emphasis added "SR" or sound recordings I found in my research b4 ;D

Unless they both agree to it, I'd take it off. They're both profiting from the songs so they should both have vested in the music. Or let Eminem decide since he put the most effort into producing them.

If THIS is similar to "my understanding" of the cover ver usage of Fefe songs, the Record Company has the Copyright on the "Sound Recordings" and the Publisher has the Copyright on the "words and music" like sheet music.
So my guess is that Aftermath Records CAN give permission to Apple for iTunes distribution w/o the Music Publisher. (Unless iTunes is ALSO giving out the lyrics aka "words" to the songs. Then I wud think EACH wud havta get paid.)
AND my guess is that Eight Mile Style LLC, the Music Publisher would receive any and all monies from ANY other Artist's cover versions of his songs. No involvement of Aftermath Records UNLESS Em's songs are sampled (ACTUAL "Sound Recording" of Eminem's version)
Anyway, I'm sure Em is still gettin paid.
